Mega Man Magic - Spoiler 20

Another day, another dollar. Except that I don't get paid for these. So, another day, another nothing.

Anyways, small one today. Enjoy.

Really, both of these cards could make sense up a rarity level. Chaotic Bladers has enough going on to justify putting it at rare, though at that level I'd probably give it another point of power or toughness. And Phantom Bladers is a middle ground between Phantom Warrior and Phantasmal Bear. While I think they're both solid cards, Phantom would be drafted high and often. Chaotic is too, well, chaotic. You don't want to rely too heavily on coin flips.

A walking Unstable Mutation.

It's important to have a couple different options in the removal suite for black, and this is one of them. It's sorcery speed, and your opponent has an out, but it's functional. The main piece of removal for black in this set is yet to be revealed. I'm saving that for maybe the final spoiler. It's a good card.

With all the mythic artifact creatures and equipment in this set, Judgment of the People feels like a potentially really strong card. If this were a real Magic set, I could definitely see this being in some standard sideboards. It reminds me of the old Seal cards, but with the second effect, it's doubly useful...in a non-artifact deck, of course. But hey, that's green's style, right?

That's all for today. See you next time.

chaotic bladers is best designed card ive seen yet out of you, blue unblockable could cost 1U and would be fine.

only thing i would change about bladers is i would have it 'sacrifice it at end of combat' instead of immediately

I generally tried to avoid creature power creep, and actually went a little backwards here and there. I think in today's Magic, you're probably right, but in an M11 mind such as my own, this is where I landed.
